By the Book

Yes, I watch children's shows. I'm a babysitter. Get over it.

By the book. It's an odd phrase. It means following instructions, or doing things the way they were mean to be done. It's not a very common phrase. So when I heard it the other day, it caught my attention.

I was watching some children and a nearby television was on, tuned to a children's show channel. A show called “Wow Wow Wubzy” was on and at the end of the episode a “moral of the story” song started. It was called, “By the Book”.

Prince Caspian

I got to see the newest Narnia movie on Friday. And I was very excited and pleased. It was better than I thought it was going to be.

As many of you may know, I was disappointed in the first Narnia movie. Though it stayed close and true to the book, I thought that they simply did not do Aslan justice visually. Specifically, they did not make Aslan big enough. It's kind of hard to put the power and majesty Aslan deserves, into a creature that comes up to the main character's waist. And though many may disagree with me, I considered that a major downfall of the movie and it disappointed me.

Well, in Prince Caspian, they fixed that.

4isling has done it again!

I'm sure many of you remember the last time I created a YouTube video: Mr. Monk Does The Right Thing.

Well, I've made another one. It's called One Way Street.

That Hand

From one girl to ... any girl who will listen.

Dark.

his eyes. his hair. his clothes.

his intentions.

No one else can see him. he is holding out his hand.

For every girl, he looks different. he comes from any place; can go anywhere. Maybe it's his smile. Maybe it's his eyes.

he is holding out his hand.

he is offering you the world. And it hurts.

It's so hard to look away.

My Necklace

There was a quiet, high-pitched clatter as something very small and shiny shot, skittering, across the parking lot in front of me. I assumed, at first, that I had kicked something. But than the horrible truth dawned.

My necklace had broken.

I don't really wear jewelry; I'm not that kind of girl. I only wear my watch and my Purity/Promise ring. But recently, Lilly gave to me a necklace.

I'm on YouTube!

Yup, that's right. Aisling has an account on YouTube. (Well, technically, there I'm 4isling, not Aisling, but who's counting?)

Anyways, I took this major leap for myself for a good reason. I had something I wanted to post. X-D Yay, me!

It was experimental and fun and technically breaking several rules. But again, who's counting?

You can see it for yourself here.

I highly recommend allowing to to load fully before watching it. That way it doesn't glitch and throw things off-beat. ;-)
